Flamingo Party Invite


My 18th birthday is in less then a month! It has been so long since I have done anything special for my birthday, this year I decided I will go ahead and plan my own party. I've been really into flamingos lately, plus I came across some cool ideas on Pinterest so that is my theme. I don't really have many friends that I hang out with so my party is really only family plus my bestfriend, unfortunately my boyfriend won't be able to make it. 

I am really going all out for this party, it's my 18th birthday and I am just tired of hating my birthday because I never get to do anything. This early I'm taking it into my own hands. I can't wait to post a few pictures from the party! I hope that I can inspire other into some awesome party planning, whether it's for your own party or someone else's. 

These invitations I made were pretty simple. I found lots of ideas on Pinterest but most were prints from etsy that I would have had to pay for, which I didn't want to do. The one I used was from Michaels, there are four to a page. I glued the printout to pink card stock. I picked up a package of pink feathers and hot glue gunned a feather for the flamingo wing on each invite. For the infor on the back I considered typing it and gluing it but I decided to just write it on with a fine tip sharpie just because it was quicker and easier. I will try to find the link again to the printable I used to that you can use my idea  if you like.

Spring Time Tag

I haven't done a tag lately, really I haven't done much posting at all. With the end of the school year nearing the end I have been pretty busy. Between that and work I haven't had too much time to sit down and write. I have going to really try and make an effort to get posts out more regularly again though. So stay tuned! 1.
