Birthday Pancakes

For my mom's birthday this morning I made her birthday pancakes. I found this idea on Pinterest a while back and thought I would try it. There were all kinds of recipes on Pinterest but here's how I made them. 1 1/4 cup of pancake mix (I used Aunt Jemima original ) 1 cup of milk 1 large egg A little bit of vanilla Sprinkles I mixed all the ingredients in a bowl and poured it in the frying pan to make pancakes. I made fairly large pan cakes, and then a few little ones for Chloe to have. When the pancakes were all done I put them on a plate, put some whipped cream on top and some more sprinkles. Here is what they looked like in the end (keep in mind this is the first time I have ever made pancakes so they don't look too pretty but the top one isn't that bad): They were really good, try making them some time! Welcome to our little family, Fruitcake! This year is our first year with an elf on the shelf, I'm so excited! Probably more excited then Chloe is I'm sure. Our elf arrived on November 28th (because I just couldn't wait any longer haha). This is where we've found him so far- - on the right was the first day, bottom left was the second day and top left was the third day- I wasn't sure if our elf would arrive early or wait until like a couple weeks before Christmas, but I ended up deciding for early. I think from now on our scout elf will arrive on the last day of November every year. I have so many cute ideas for these few weeks before Christmas, it's hard to believe that there aren't too many more days before Christmas!  So far Chloe has been pretty excited to find fruitcake in the mornings but she doesn't remember when she wakes up, I remind her to find him. Bumpdate

This Friday I will be 23 weeks pregnant, give or take 17 weeks left! So far I have had 3 ultrasounds and probably won’t be having another this pregnancy it's hard to say. My most recent Doctor’s appointment was this past Tuesday and my next one is in a month. After that I will start going to the doctor every two weeks instead of once a month. I decided Tuesday to get the gender of the baby put into an envelope and I do now know what the baby is. However, I will not be sharing the gender with everyone at this time, but I probably will before he or she makes their grand entrance. How I’ve been feeling: Lately I have been feeling super irritable and anxious. I have been trying not to stress out or get too overwhelmed. Other then that I have been having lots of regular pregnancy symptoms, I feel like I am so much farther along than I actually am. Below are the main symptoms that I have been feeling.
