Logan's Upcoming Birthday

Less then one month until my little man's first birthday! This year has gone by so quickly, it makes me so sad. I miss him being so little, but now that he is bigger he's able to play and say mama, which is super cute! I love watching Chloe and Logan play together, it's so interesting to see them communicating with each other.  If you couldn't tell by the picture above, the theme of his birthday party is Dinosaurs. I have been planning this for a few months now. All I have to do now is decided on what food I am going to have and how I am going to do his cake. I have already gotten his outfit and his present as well. So I'm basically all set.  Unlike Chloe's two birthday parties so far I have decided to have Logan's at my house instead of at my cottage. It will be nice not having to lug a bunch of stuff too and from now. Welcome to our little family, Fruitcake! This year is our first year with an elf on the shelf, I'm so excited! Probably more excited then Chloe is I'm sure. Our elf arrived on November 28th (because I just couldn't wait any longer haha). This is where we've found him so far- - on the right was the first day, bottom left was the second day and top left was the third day- I wasn't sure if our elf would arrive early or wait until like a couple weeks before Christmas, but I ended up deciding for early. I think from now on our scout elf will arrive on the last day of November every year. I have so many cute ideas for these few weeks before Christmas, it's hard to believe that there aren't too many more days before Christmas!  So far Chloe has been pretty excited to find fruitcake in the mornings but she doesn't remember when she wakes up, I remind her to find him. Elf on the Shelf Ideas!

With only less then 2 weeks to go before Christmas, your scout elf may be just arriving or running out of new places to be and things to do. My scout elf arrived the beginning of December, above is a few pictures of where my family's scout elf; fruitcake has been so far. My personal favorites were fruit pcske fishing in the sink, hanging on the advent calendar and coloring on his little color pages. I  hope that some of my ideas are able to help you out in this last week and a bit days before Christmas. I know my elf is slacking on placement every morning now that everything is starting to get busier at my house! Hopefully he can keep it up until Christmas Eve! With not much time left before Christmas I still have so much left to do, I thought I was doing good stay on track but apparently not.
