Logan's Upcoming Birthday

Less then one month until my little man's first birthday! This year has gone by so quickly, it makes me so sad. I miss him being so little, but now that he is bigger he's able to play and say mama, which is super cute! I love watching Chloe and Logan play together, it's so interesting to see them communicating with each other.  If you couldn't tell by the picture above, the theme of his birthday party is Dinosaurs. I have been planning this for a few months now. All I have to do now is decided on what food I am going to have and how I am going to do his cake. I have already gotten his outfit and his present as well. So I'm basically all set.  Unlike Chloe's two birthday parties so far I have decided to have Logan's at my house instead of at my cottage. It will be nice not having to lug a bunch of stuff too and from now. Elf on the Shelf Ideas!

With only less then 2 weeks to go before Christmas, your scout elf may be just arriving or running out of new places to be and things to do. My scout elf arrived the beginning of December, above is a few pictures of where my family's scout elf; fruitcake has been so far. My personal favorites were fruit pcske fishing in the sink, hanging on the advent calendar and coloring on his little color pages. I  hope that some of my ideas are able to help you out in this last week and a bit days before Christmas. I know my elf is slacking on placement every morning now that everything is starting to get busier at my house! Hopefully he can keep it up until Christmas Eve! With not much time left before Christmas I still have so much left to do, I thought I was doing good stay on track but apparently not. So the Potty Training Journey Begins

Proud mommy moment: Chloe peed on the potty yesterday for the first time! Yay!  For awhile I went back and forth over when I would start Chloe on potty training. Ultimately in the end I decided to wait until I really thought she was ready and could understand a little more to be willing. That time has come, last night we came in the house after swimming and she wanted to sit on the potty. I have gotten her to sit on her potty numerous times in the past but nothing, this time she peed! I'm not 100% sure on how I plan to go about this process, she isn't quite two yet and isn't in daycare or anything so I'm in no major rush to get things done as quickly as possible.  Here is my list of essential to start off the potty training journey with: •A potty of course! •A stool, for reaching the sink to wash hands and also is your potty seat sits right on the toilet • Pull ups or some sort of training pants •Adorable undies •A book about potty training to make your child interested...
