Wisdom Teeth Extraction
I'm not afraid of needles what so ever but I usually pass out when I get blood work so I mostly wasn't looking forward to that part of it. The nurse got it into my right arm, I didn't even feel it go in but she burst the vein so she had to try again on my left arm, it hurt that time but she got it in good. She told me that once she turned on the stuff to sedate me I would start to not care about anything and then I would kinda be in and out and when it's over and starts to wear off I wouldn't remember anything.
Unfortunately that wasn't the case for me, I remember the nurse asking me about my kids, and I remember being asked about their fathers (later on I realized that I don't actually remember being asked I only remember answer so I'm pretty sure I was just rambling haha). I remember when the doctor walked in and that's when the the dizziness set in big time. I told him about how when I had fetnal (or what ever it's actually called) at the hospital when I had my son it was kind of the same feeling.
I don't remember the needles for the freezing at all, but I remember the teeth actually coming out. I was told before it started to raise my hand if I felt pain, well I did that because I felt pain when my top left tooth was coming out. The nurse grabbed my arm and held it down, good thing I didn't care. The next thing after that I remember is when they they were stitching me up, at first I was really confused because I thought that they were flossing my teeth but they I clued in.
I was in and out after that, I don't remember going from the room to the recovery room. But I remover once I got there, my dad was there and I told him about me raising my hand, he chuckled. I'm sure he thought I was making it up or something haha. I was there for 20 minutes but I didn't really remember, I also can't remember going from the recovery room to the doors to leave but I do remember once I got outside. My dad was trying to help me walk but I didn't want him to. I got in the truck and told him my mom promised me a milkshake from McDonald's. When I got home, Chloe was scare of me because of the goz sticking out of my mouth, I told my mom about it while I ate my milkshake with a spoon. I kept getting frustrated that she couldn't tell what I was saying. So I when to feed Logan and have a nap, when I woke up the pain started to set in, but my dad hadn't brought me my pain killers yet so I bared it until supper time.
My pain killers weren't very strong and were in liquid form (and disgusting by the way) so I took that with a drink of milkshake to wash it down. For supper I was starving so I had chicken and rice in like a chicken soup thing. I don't know what it's called but it was good. I stayed up pretty late watching TV with my mom and Logan, he was cranky which gave me a headache so I got cranky and we ended up just going to sleep. Logan slept in his bassinet for he very first time, only for maybe 2 hours but still.
When I woke up this morning I was feeling a lot of pain so I took some Advil instead which helped a hell of a lot better, my jaw isn't that sore but it is pretty swelled up now. Unfortunately I can now feel the stitches which is super annoying. Other then that I've been feeling okay, tired though. It wasn't an overall horrible experience, I'm just glad that they are out and can stop causing me problems!
Who else has had their wisdom teeth out? How many did you have, I had all four. Do you remember any of it? Comment and let me know, I'm curious if it was just me or what.
