Hello May

I was half way through the day before I actually realized that today is May 1st already. It's so hard to believe, this year has gone by so quickly! Logan will be one in a month, he is getting so big. I think he will be walking soon, he stands for short periods of time not holding onto anything and he will walk holding my hands or on something. I am still nursing occasionally but not as much anymore. Logan has been sleeping through the night finally, so I am getting a bit of much needed rest! Chloe is getting so big, she will be three in about a little less then 5 months, isn't that crazy! Hopefully she will be starting preschool in the fall, providing they have any spots left, fingers crossed. The kids and I have been having so much fun playing outside and going for walks in this nice weather! I am really looking forward to this summer and taking them to the beach and my cottage.  In the last couple weeks I have been so happy to get out in the evenings a few times to get some f...

Spring Time Tag

I haven't done a tag lately, really I haven't done much posting at all. With the end of the school year nearing the end I have been pretty busy. Between that and work I haven't had too much time to sit down and write. I have going to really try and make an effort to get posts out more regularly again though. So stay tuned! 1. Spring means glowing skin, what do you do for healthy glowing skin? Sunscreen? Haha, I don't really use anything else, usually just a tinted face cream with SPF 30 in it. 2. What is the first beauty thing you think of when the weather warms up? Letting my hair dry out in the breeze, it is always so soft and wavy when I do that.  3. What is your favorite part of spring? The start of the new fishing season would be my favorite, then just the weather starting to warm up in general. 4. Do you wear your hair differently in the spring? Usually pony tail and a baseball hat, or down with sunglasses in it.  5. What clothing item are you most excited about w...

Swaddle Designs Review

Image
Adorable prints, super soft and breathable material, and perfect size. I just received my Swaddle Desgin muslin blankets in the mail the other day and I loved them! I got two prints, pandas and hedgehogs (like one of my most favorite animals ever!) These prints are just so cute, Chloe thinks that they are super cute as well.  ~Hedgehog print above~ Like I said above, the material is so soft and breathable! This will especially be great for the summer when a heavy blanket is a bit too warm at night and for naps. Unlike Chloe, Logan has never been a big fan of hugging blankets or carrying one around but when I opened up the hedgehog print muslin blanket he grabbed it from me! He loves it!  These already super soft muslin blankets I was told get softer with each was, when I felt the blanket after opening it I didn't think that this was possible, I was wrong! I have washed it since and it is significantly softer then when I got it and it was really soft then so that's saying somet...

Top 4 Baby Bottles

Image
Below are my 4 personal favorite baby bottles that my kids loved. Keep in mind that these are only my opinions, and there are lots of other bottles that I liked too these are just the ones that I used/use the most!  1. Gerber Essentials Currently these are my favorites, and the only bottle that Logan will take! When he was really little, the the first time he ever had a bottle he would gag if the nipple was too big. So these were the only bottles that he would take and he still only will. 2. Tommee Tippee  When Chloe was a little baby she had a horrible latch, which was the reason I had to stop breastfeeding quite early on and switched to formula. These nipples were wider and not as long so it helped a bit with her latch. Chloe still uses these bottles sometimes but not for much longer! Also there are lots of cute colors and designs depending on where you are purchasing them at.  3. Comotomo I have only tried this bottle with Logan, I ordered it online because I thought i...

About My Job!

Image
Lately I have had a lot of people asking me if I have a job, what I do for work, etc. So first, yes I do have a job, it is only part time. For those who don't know from my profile or previous posts I work at a pool as a swimming instructor. I have been doing my job since mid October 2013 (less then a month after Chloe was born). This was my first real job that I have ever had.  As a water safety instructor, my job is to teach anyone and everyone how to swim. I've taught parent and baby classes, kids and even taught adult lessons. Preschool levels and adult lessons are probably my favorite to teach out of all of them. I'm not usually a big fan of teaching the very first couple of levels only because you get kids who can swim great and ones who are terrified all in the same group. Which makes it hard to get everything don't that needs to get done with all the kids if you have one hanging off of you or swimming all over the place. I have a love hate relationship with my jo...
