3rd Breastfeeding Milestone

Well I'm almost a month late but wow, nine months already! That crazy, I truly did not think that I would get this far with breastfeeding. Fingers crossed I make it to the next milestone, which would be one year. In the beginning I didn't even think I would get to 6 months, between 3 and 6 months was my goal. I thought that maybe I would stop then. Honestly though, it's so much easier then bottle feeding in my opinion, especially in the night. Logan and I co-sleep, I find that I get much more sleep that way even though I still wake up 1-2 times per night. Co-sleeping of course is not for everyone but it works for us.

I still haven't been pumping much, I find it to be a pain and inconvenience personally because it takes a while. Last time I pumped though I got just about 7 ounces (between both sides) and I was pretty proud of my self for that. One other breast feeding mom milestone I reached last week was I wore a regular bra for the first time since I was roughly 34 weeks pregnant or before that. Since I had been wearing strictly nursing bras only, underwire ones if I was leaving the house and like a sleep bra all other times. They are seriously like the most comfortable bras ever, here's the link so all of the moms and moms to be out there can check it out if you are in need of nursing bras. ->Thyme Maternity

I haven't yet decided when I will seriously finish breastfeeding, I always used to think that going much past a year was kind of weird. The closer and closer to a year the less strange it becomes to me. Now I'm more just like 'meh, I'll just continue until whenever' haha. I'm gonna say probably a year and a half I will finish but who know what I'll be thinking when I get closer to that time.

I will probably be the one that has a harder time with weaning off it then Logan will. Momma will be one emotional reck! So far Logan is pretty good with a bottle and formula, he usually has that during the day and he gets breastmilk in the mornings, nights and sometimes the middle of the day. Now that he eats more food through out the day I find it easier to do it this way. If Logan is tired though and not in his car seat he will get so cranky and basically demand breastmilk and won't take a bottle.

The only down side that I have come across is that if he is hungry and I'm holding him he will basically tear me apart trying to get through to the food. It's one thing when we are at home but when we are at the mall or a hockey game it's not so cute haha How many other breastfed babies do this? Hoe long did you/are you going to breastfeed your baby for? Thanks for reading my 3rd breastfeeding milestone post, comment below! :D
