New Hobby!

Sort of..okay so for a long long time I have loved taking pictures. I have always enjoyed taking pictures for people but all I had was a fancy looking point and shoot camera that was technically not mine, it's my dad's. Getting professional pictures done by someone usually costs so much money, which really I can't afford. I decided I wanted to be able to take my own nice pictures, most importantly of my kids but possibly even other people to.

I got myself some continuous lighting in hopes that it would significantly improve the picture quality by the point and shoot, unfortunately my iPhone could still take a much better picture. So I went a head and started searching for a reasonably priced DSLR camera. It took a little while to find the right one for me but when I did, I wasted no time making it mine!

Since I have had the camera I have taken lots of pictures of my kids and lots of landscape photos as well. On top of that I have done two photo shoots for friends of mine and have three more scheduled! I am so happy that I am finally getting to do this, I have wanted to for so long. I can't wait to share more of the pictures that I take with y'all.

If anyone has any tips or tricks to share with me I would love to hear them. I am still figuring it all out, I'm sure I will be for awhile but that's okay! I'll be sure to keep y'all updated on how my little business is going for me. :D

  1. I‘m so happy that you found your hobby. I heard that taking pictures also makes you calmer, so I think this hobby is really helpful for your health. Since it is your longtime hobby, I think that you dream came true. It is really nice to read that people keep pursuing their dreams. And, as you mentioned, now you have your own small business. Even you had so much trouble finding a camera, but I believe that it was worth it. And for more professional photographs I suggest you to use photoshop, because you can adjust lighting, colours and HDR. Believe me, it is very useful to work with photoshop. Taking good shot and then editing in photoshop will bring you the best results. Anyways, keep going!
