Fave Pregnancy Apps
Each of these apps I liked and used for different reasons while I was pregnant. All but two I used throughout both pregnancies. I downloaded and bought just about every pregnancy app there was and theses were my favorites. From top left to bottom right, here are the apps and what I liked about each of them
1. Pregnancy Journal Sprout - This app I used through out both pregnancies, it is one of my favorites because it is just a journal. It includes all kinds of questions about every aspect of pregnancy and newborn stage. There are pages where you can fill in your own response and questions where you can pick the statement that best applies to you and then you can also create your own pages to include even more in your journal. Also you can buy your journal in the end so you can keep it forever. I would definitely recommend this app to all mommies to be!
2. Ovia Pregnancy Tracker - This app I only used for my most recent pregnancy and not my first. Ovia has a period tracker which I was using before I got pregnant and that's how I found this app. I really like how there was a calendar to keep track of symptoms and moods and every day there were all kinds of little updates for me about my stage of pregnancy and each week they compare the size of the baby to fruit and the size of the baby's hand at that week of pregnancy compared to the size it will be at birth. I also recommend this app for sure!
3. The Bump - My main app for keeping up with bump pictures would have to be this one. I liked how it was displayed and it was easy to see how much baby belly growth there had been. This app also used fruit to show how big the baby would be and the current week. Other then that this app didn't have too much else that I liked more than any other pregnancy app but it's still one of my favorites. This app I also only used during my second pregnancy. There is no picture for this app below.
4. I'm Expecting Pregnancy App - My least favorite out of the five would probably be this one because the updates each week weren't as good as the other app I had. Although what I did like about this app was that it was easy to keep track of weight gain plus I could also keep track of my bump pictures. I used two apps for belly pictures because my due date was changed during my pregnancy and I still believed the original a little more so I kept track using both due dates.
5. WebMD Pregnancy - Finally the last app I really liked because of the kick counter and contraction timer. The updates each week were good and I found that they had a lot of answers to any questions I had or anything I was curious about. I would definitely recommend this app as well, especially for the contraction timer.
A few other pregnancy apps that aren't bad are: Baby Names, My Pregnancy Today BabyCenter, Baby Countdown!!, and Pregnancy Sprout. I hope you enjoy/enjoyed all these apps as much as I did and have/had a wonderful pregnancy! If you used a different app that you think was great, let me know! I'd love to check it out.
