What Is The Meaning Behind Your Blog Name?
I don’t believe I have answered this question before, I have thought about it before though. When I created my blog, it had some really long name that I can’t remember anymore. When I really started posting I changed the name to what it currently is. It took me a very long time to come up with a name that I liked and thought fit.

In my opinion, or at least what I was trying to accomplish with the name #momlife was to capture the fact that I am a mommy but also still young. The whole hashtag thing was really big at that time I guess you could say, especially on Instagram. I used Instagram quite a bit to share photos of myself and kids, often using #momlife. At the time I thought it made sense, I really liked my name and thought it was pretty cool. I’m not sure what other thought of it.

Sometimes I think of changing it, but I purchased my current domain and I do still like my blog name, so I probably won’t change it. It was hard enough to come up with a name once, I don’t think I could do it a second time. I would love to hear what my readers think of the name, comment below if you like!

Great Educational Children's Book!

I recently had the opportunity to read a great children’s book written by Christine Bronstein. The title of the book is Stewie BOOM! and Princess Penelope: Handprints, Snowflakes and Play-dates. I am always interested in finding new resources and such relating to children with different special needs. My son, Logan, is developmentally delayed. Sometimes it can be hard interacting with other families, friends and even our own family, not everyone understand and that can make not only kids but adults, possibly even more so. This book is great for families with a special needs child to share with their friends and family. It is also great read for children to educate them about differences and that we should embrace them not avoid them. I feel like this book would be especially appropriate for elementary teachers and early childhood educators to read to their classes. 1. What are 3 words to describe 2015? Eventful, Overwhelmeing and memorable 2. What word would you choose to represent your goals for 2016? This is a hard one, how about successful, there are a lot of important things that I want and need to accomplish this year for myself and my little family. I am confident that I will be able to succeed in achieving these goals.  3. How old will you turn in 2016? I will turn 18 in 2016. 4. If you could change any bad habit in 2016, what would it be? Mother's Day Foot Art

With Mother's Day coming up, a great gift for moms and grandmas is something homemade especially from little kids! I love doing footprint/handprint art so I went to Pinterest to find some inspiration for Mother's Day and this is what I found. Cupcake First I did this handprint cupcake with Chloe, the one I saw on Pinterest was pretty different but same idea. I used the smallest size of the Artists Loft flat canvas (from Michaels), the handprint turned out way better then I was expecting it to. After that I gave Chloe a rectangular piece of paper and some crayons to color it with. Once it was totally filled in I trimmed it to look like a cupcake tin, then I glued it on. The words were the same as on the one I used as inspiration, "For the Sweetest Grandma!"
