Elf on the Shelf Ideas!

With only less then 2 weeks to go before Christmas, your scout elf may be just arriving or running out of new places to be and things to do. My scout elf arrived the beginning of December, above is a few pictures of where my family's scout elf; fruitcake has been so far. My personal favorites were fruit pcske fishing in the sink, hanging on the advent calendar and coloring on his little color pages. I  hope that some of my ideas are able to help you out in this last week and a bit days before Christmas. Potty Training On The Go

Here is my list of a few things that you might want to keep in your diaper bag when you are potty training your child or they have recently been potty trained! :)  •Folding Potty Seat - (picture shown below)  •AntiBacterial Wipes •Baby Wipes •Exrta Undies -incase of accidents •Change of Pants -also incase of any accidents •Wet Bag - maybe to store the potty seat, or possibly to put dirty clothes in until you get home if your child has an accident • Extra Training Diapers •Book - if you have a child that doesn't want to sit still any length of time, may keep their mind occupied so they will stay sitting, or maybe a little toy of some sort •Rewards - only of course if you are choosing to do any kind of rewards or rewards chart, personally I am I'm pretty sure I just haven't decided 100% how or what the rewards are going to be Here's a picture of the folding potty seat, I had actually never seen a potty seat before that sat on the toilet that folded up like this before! Mother's Day Foot Art

With Mother's Day coming up, a great gift for moms and grandmas is something homemade especially from little kids! I love doing footprint/handprint art so I went to Pinterest to find some inspiration for Mother's Day and this is what I found. Cupcake First I did this handprint cupcake with Chloe, the one I saw on Pinterest was pretty different but same idea. I used the smallest size of the Artists Loft flat canvas (from Michaels), the handprint turned out way better then I was expecting it to. After that I gave Chloe a rectangular piece of paper and some crayons to color it with. Once it was totally filled in I trimmed it to look like a cupcake tin, then I glued it on. The words were the same as on the one I used as inspiration, "For the Sweetest Grandma!"
